True Gritt Lacrosse

True Gritt is committed to developing young athletes and teaching them about the game of lacrosse. We truly believe that working to be a better teammate and developing athletic skills on the field can lead to even more success off the field. What sets us apart is that we want players and parents who care about character and sportsmanship as much as Wins and Losses. 

Our approach, like our name implies, is a no frills environment dedicated to learning every aspect of lacrosse. We run, we drill, and we teach. If you want to develop skills, learn how to play your position and take your game to the next level, then you've found the right spot.   

Our team is led by Chris Sgritta, who is currently the Coach of the Varsity Boys at Nationally Ranked Darien High School.  His impressive resume includes being First Team All American, All State and All FCIAC while a player at Darien High School, and winner of 3 DIII National Championships with Salisbury University, where he and his team had a won-lost record for his four years of 80-2.
